Eric Clapton Rocks MilwaukeePosted by Abinaya | June 29, 2010
For the first time in 25 years, Eric Clapton headlined at Milwaukee's Summerfest. In front of a lively crowd at America's largest music festival, and following the magnificent Steve Winwood collaboration and the Crossroads Guitar Festival, Eric and band were in good spirits and delivered a solid performance. Key songs were Sheriff, driven by the tight Gadd/Weeks rhythm section, a beautiful Rock n roll Heart, with strong crowd vocals, which is fast maturing into a long lost favourite and the evergreen Little Queen of Spades where all the lead players get to show their hand.
