The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity held a star-studded benefit concert at London’s O2 Arena on 3 March. Funds raised will go towards building The Royal Marsden’s brand new, state of the art cancer treatment and research facility, the Oak Cancer Centre. The formidable line-up included Eric Clapton, Tom Jones, Van Morrison, Nick Mason, Mick Hucknall, Paul Jones, Mike Rutherford, Rick Wakeman, Paul Carrack, Bonnie Tyler and many more. Gary Brooker was Musical Director of the show. He assembled a stellar house band: Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens (keyboards), Andy Fairweather Low and Robbie McIntosh (guitars), Dave Bronze (bass), Graham Broad and Ian Paice (drums & percussion). Eric performed three songs: Key To The Highway, Stormy Monday and Crossroads. The last time Eric performed "Stormy Monday" was with the Allman Brothers Band at the Beacon Theatre in New York City in March 2009. He also joined Van Morrison for three songs, including Help Me. Eric played his Almond Green Fender Stratocaster and used his Bandmaster amp. In advance of the evening, Eric said "This is a great cause and I’m honoured to be part of the efforts to raise money for The Royal Marsden. I also couldn’t say no to the opportunity to work with the other artists and bandmates in the line-up.  I am sure it’ll be a fantastic evening providing much needed support for this pioneering hospital." Full set list and band lineup details will be published in the Tour Archive later. If you were at the show, feel free to send your review and / or photographs to Where's Eric! HERE.
