Universal Music Enterprises (UMe) has announced that the latest discs in their Icon "best of" series will be released in the U.S. on 5 April. Eric Clapton, along with B.B. King and The Who, will get both the single disc and 24-track double-disc treatment. The single disc Clapton Icon edition will focus on EC's time in Derek and The Dominos and more well-known songs from his early solo career. The double disc adds tracks from Cream, Blind Faith and digs deeper into EC's pre-1981 solo catalog.
