Turn Up From Home Episode 7 Debuts 18 July

Episode 7 Features Performances from Katie Kissoon, Citizen Cope and Kenny Wayne Shepherd Turn up for Recovery is a charitable movement raising awareness of abstinence-based recovery, tackling the stigma of addiction and helping make treatment affordable to people struggling with alcohol and drug addiction. Founded by Melia Clapton, she announced the movement during Eric Clapton’s 2019 Crossroads Guitar Festival. On 18 July, at PDT 11:00am, EDT 2:00pm and BST 7:00pm, Episode 7 of the Turn Up From Home concert series will debut on TUFR's YouTube Channel.

Jamie Oldaker, Legendary Drummer, Dies at 68

Legendary Tulsa-based drummer, and former Eric Clapton band mate, Jamie Oldaker, sadly lost his courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, 16 July. He was 68. He was an integral part of Eric's "comeback band" in the mid 1970's, through 1979, providing a formidable, yet sympathetic, rhythm section with bass player and close friend Carl Radle.

Eric Clapton at Live Aid: A Look Back

Watch Eric's Three Song Set from Philadelphia on 13 July 1985! Live Aid was a dual-venue concert on 13 July 1985 organized by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise funds for relief of the ongoing Ethiopian famine. Billed as the "global jukebox" and conceived as an event that “should be as big as is humanly possible," it happened simultaneously at Wembley Stadium in London and John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia. The 72,000 in attendance in London and 100,000 in Philadelphia were dwarfed by the global television audience of 2 billion.
