Renowned musician Bruce Hornsby is this week's Featured Artist on Turn Up For Recovery's YouTube Channel. Tune in Saturday 8 August at PDT 11:00am, EDT 2:00pm and BST 7:00pm, for a very special performance at youtube.com/turnupforrecovery. Bruce is a native of Williamsburg, Virginia. A singer-songwriter and pianist, his music draws from classical, jazz, bluegrass, folk, Motown, gospel, rock, blues, and jam band musical traditions. He has been awarded three Grammy Awards over the course of his career.

Renowned musician Dirk Powell along with Amelia Powell and Rainy Eyes are this week's Featured Artists on Turn Up For Recovery's YouTube Channel. Tune in Saturday 25 July at PDT 11:00am, EDT 2:00pm and BST 7:00pm, for their very special performance at youtube.com/turnupforrecovery. Dirk Powell is a musician with deep roots in several rural American styles, particularly Appalachian and Cajun music. He learned banjo and fiddle from his grandfather in Kentucky and has a longstanding connection to Louisiana, where he has lived since the early 1990s.

Turn Up From Home Episode 7 Debuts 18 July

Episode 7 Features Performances from Katie Kissoon, Citizen Cope and Kenny Wayne Shepherd Turn up for Recovery is a charitable movement raising awareness of abstinence-based recovery, tackling the stigma of addiction and helping make treatment affordable to people struggling with alcohol and drug addiction. Founded by Melia Clapton, she announced the movement during Eric Clapton’s 2019 Crossroads Guitar Festival. On 18 July, at PDT 11:00am, EDT 2:00pm and BST 7:00pm, Episode 7 of the Turn Up From Home concert series will debut on TUFR's YouTube Channel.

Jamie Oldaker, Legendary Drummer, Dies at 68

Legendary Tulsa-based drummer, and former Eric Clapton band mate, Jamie Oldaker, sadly lost his courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, 16 July. He was 68. He was an integral part of Eric's "comeback band" in the mid 1970's, through 1979, providing a formidable, yet sympathetic, rhythm section with bass player and close friend Carl Radle.
