Clapton At The Budokan: Night Three

Like many of his fans who've reached or are approaching retirement age, Eric Clapton seems to be struggling with the concept of "retirement." In the Japan 2016 programme, EC writes, "I'm back again, although I'm not supposed to be, I'm actually officially retired, but I haven't really worked out what that means yet! So, while I'm figuring it out, I thought it would be great to come back and see all my friends in Tokyo."

Night two of Eric Clapton's five show run at Tokyo's Nippon Budokan was another solid show. The set list was unchanged from night one - a mix of blues, Eric's worldwide hits, back catalog gems sprinkled with songs from his forthcoming album, I Still Do.

I Still Do Vinyl And Deluxe Editions Available

Eric Clapton's 23rd studio album, I Still Do, is set for release on 20 May 2016 on Bushbranch Records / Surfdog Records. Two special limited edition deluxe packages and a vinyl LP set are available for pre-order at surfdog.com/shop along with the standard release on CD.

The 12-track record includes some original songs written by Clapton. Produced by Glyn Johns, it was recorded on 16 tracks using analog tape and was mastered for 45rpm for maximum fidelity.
