Eric Clapton concluded his Spring 2009 Tour and his 11-night residency at London's historic Royal Albert Hall with a blistering 16-song performance on Sunday, 31 May 2009. Eric and his band tore through audience favourites like "Old Love", "I Shot The Sheriff" and "Badge". His solos during "Little Queen of Spades" and "Before You Accuse Me" were particularly notable. Eric Clapton & His Band: Night Ten At The Royal Albert Hall

The tenth night of Eric Clapton's 11-night residency at "The Albert" immediately hit top gear with the opener "Going Down Slow" and stayed there until the closing notes of the encore, "Crossroads." Doyle Bramhall II of the Arc Angels once again joined the band for the final three numbers. As with previous evenings on the tour, the set also included performances of "Badge" "Lay Down Sally," "Before You Accuse Me" and "Got To Get Better In A Little While" which featured a funky bass solo from Willie Weeks and terrific harmonies from "The BVs" - Sharon White and Michelle John.

Eric Clapton & His Band Rock The Albert Hall: 28 May 2009

Eric Clapton is nearing the end of his 11-show residency at the 138-year old Royal Albert Hall. Thursday evening, 28 May, marked the 9th concert of the series. Doyle Bramhall II again joined the band on stage for three songs at the end of the evening's performance. Over two-hours, the audience was treated to a mix of songs from Eric's extensive rock / pop catalog along with blues standards. "I Shot The Sheriff" - which has been a standout number at many shows this tour - was not performed this evening.
