Watch "Layla" and the film trailer here! Arriving in UK stores today, 3 November, and the US tomorrow is Planes, Trains And Eric from filmmaker David Maxwell. The compelling new documentary follows Eric Clapton, his band and crew on their 2014 Tour of the Far and Middle East. Thirteen full-length live performances - filmed and recorded in high-definition - puts viewers front row center. The revealing interviews with EC, his band and crew paired with fly on the wall footage from rehearsals, soundchecks and travel on trains and planes provides an intimate look inside life on the road.

Eric's band for this leg of the 2014 Tour was Steve Gadd on drums, Nathan East on bass, Chris Stainton on piano, Paul Carrack on organ and vocals, and Michelle John and Sharon White on backing vocals. In the performance footage, the top-notch lineup accomodated EC in whatever direction he took off in - whether it was on rockers like "Tell The Truth" or "I Shot The Sheriff", blues like "Before You Accuse Me" or "Crossroads" or even a gentle acoustic ballad like "Tears In Heaven".

When watching, be sure to stick around for the end credits so you can hear the audio for the show closer, "High Time We Went."

Planes, Trains And Eric is available on DVD, Blu-ray and other digital formats from Eagle Rock Entertainment. It's been out since 22 October in Japan and 31 October in Germany.
