    Other musicians occasionally “guest star” during Eric Clapton’s tour performances, but this is a bit of a rarity. In most cases of recent vintage, the “guest” was the support act. The Arc Angels - Doyle Bramhall II, Charlie Sexton and Chris Layton - will perform at the Fillmore at Irving Plaza on Friday, 8 May at 8:30PM.     [Updated] Celebrating their 40th Anniversary this year, the Allman Brothers Band brought out surprise guests almost every night of their annual Beacon Theatre run. Gregg Allman said that these shows were to be a tribute to his late brother and founding band member, Duane, who died in 1971 at age 24. On 19 and 20 March, Eric Clapton joined The Allman Brothers on stage at New York City's Beacon Theatre. From all accounts of those who were lucky enough to attend those two shows (and indeed all of the concerts), the music was magic.

    Where's Eric! Issue 41 is currently being put together by the Where's Eric! Editorial Team. As always, the magazine will feature exclusive reviews, interviews (including Buddy Guy and Abe Laboriel, Jr.), photos, special features and a trainspotter's guide to the set lists.
