    In front of a capacity crowd, the 16 song set was drawn from all eras of Eric Clapton's lengthy career. The "hits" were represented by songs like "Wonderful Tonight" and "Cocaine" while the band stretched out on songs like "Old Love," "I Shot The Sheriff" "Before You Accuse Me" and "Little Queen of Spades." The band has really gelled and songs have been worked into a solid groove. "Driftin'" was performed as the first song of the sit-down set and "Not Dark Yet" was dropped....

    It was the second Saturday night at the Royal Albert Hall, concert number six for Eric Clapton and the half-way point of his 11 night residency on 23 May 2009. Eric and his band were in great form. Clocking in at almost two-hours, the sixteen song set continues to offer a mix of blues, songs from EC's 1989 album "Journeyman" and a bunch of hits. One fan, who was attending his first show of the tour was impressed.
