The first, Ginger Baker's much-anticipated no-holds-barred autobiography hits store shelves on 5 October 2009 from John Blake Publishing. In Hellraiser, the legendary drummer not only takes readers on an extensive musical journey, but discusses his formative years in South London during World War II, his early dreams of becoming a racing cyclist, to his life today on a ranch in South Africa, his love of polo and everything in between.

    On 17 September 2009, Eric Clapton will be Bruce Hornsby’s special guest on the new Jay Leno Show in America. The show airs on NBC-TV affiliates around the country from 10PM. The Jay Leno Show premieres 14 September and will feature humor, celebrity guests, topical news and musical performances. Also expected to appear on the 17 September show is actress Halle Berry.

    [Updated with additional ticket information] On Wednesday July 22, 2009, Jann Wenner (Founder of Rolling Stone and Chairman, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation) hosted a morning press conference in New York City. Held at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Annex in Soho, it was to announce two concerts on October 29th and 30th at Madison Square Garden to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Performing on the 29th will be Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Simon & Garfunkel, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Friends, Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder.
