Coming This Fall: The Audio Fidelity Release of "John Mayall with Eric Clapton: Blues Breakers"

Audio Fidelity of Camarillo, California is slated to release one of the seminal blues recordings of the 1960s - "John Mayall with Eric Clapton: Blues Breakers" - on 24K gold disc this fall. Audio Fidelity works from the master mix tapes using their proprietary analog to digital converter then etches "real time" onto the disc's glass surface by laser at the manufacturing plant to ensure the highest possible audio quality.

Ronnie Scott's - Jack Bruce, Steve Gadd On Club's 50th Anniversary Month Schedule

Ronnie Scott's is known to music lovers the world over as one of London's preeminent music venues. 2009 marks the club's 50th Anniversary Year, with the actual anniversary day being 30 October. The club's 50th Anniversary Month schedule has a few of Eric Clapton's musical collaborators headlining shows. On 1 October, Jools Holland and His Rhythm and Blues Orchestra kick things off. On 25 October, Eric's Cream bandmate, Jack Bruce is  a special guest with Ronnie Scott's Blues Experience.

Andy Fairweather Low – Now On Tour!

Guitarist and vocalist Andy Fairweather Low  is back out on the road with his band, The Low Riders.  Andy is a very familiar face to Clapton fans worldwide as he has been an integral part of Eric’s touring and recording bands since 1992. You can catch Andy Fairweather Low and The Low Riders everywhere from The Riga in Southend to Upstairs, Downstairs in Bahrain. There’s even a gig at the Half Moon, Putney in November – the site of more than one Where’s Eric! Readers Party. Andy's tour dates run through 5 December 2009.

New Books of Interest: Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce

Both of Eric Clapton's Cream bandmates will be the subject of new books this fall. The first, Ginger Baker's much-anticipated no-holds-barred autobiography hits store shelves on 5 October 2009 from John Blake Publishing. In Hellraiser, the legendary drummer not only takes readers on an extensive musical journey, but discusses his formative years in South London during World War II, his early dreams of becoming a racing cyclist, to his life today on a ranch in South Africa, his love of polo and everything in between.
