Concert Announcement: Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood 26 May 2010 at St. Jakobshalle, Basel.

Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood have added a concert to their summer jaunt around Europe. They'll perform at St. Jakobshalle in Basel, Switzerland on 26 May 2010. Tickets go on sale Thursday 21 January at 8 o'clock according to the Good News Website. Tickets (standing), as well as VIP Packages (numbered seats), will be available from Ticketcorner.com or by phone from 0900 800 800.

Santana "Supernatural Legacy Edition" Out 15 February. Previously Unreleased Track Features Eric Clapton

It's hard to believe, but its been 10 years since Santana's blockbuster Supernatural CD was released. Its lead off single, "Smooth," topped the US charts for 12 consecutive weeks, peaked at #3 in the UK, garnered three Grammy Awards and in the decade since, became a staple of pop radio. The album closed with "The Calling" that had Carlos Santana and Eric Clapton stretching out in a guitar tour-de-force. On 15 February (16 February in the U.S.), Sony will issue a two-disc Legacy Edition. Disc One has the completely re-mastered original album.

T-Mobile, Eric Clapton and Fender Team Up on the myTouch 3G Fender Limited Edition Smartphone

T-Mobile, Eric Clapton and Fender have partnered to create a limited edition myTouch 3G Smartphone. Eric will promote the phone and appear in a TV commercial to air in the United States starting 20 January. The smartphone has a Fender guitar sunburst finish and will come pre-loaded with some of Eric's hit songs, Android Market applications and other content. One of the included apps is "Guitar Solo".

Yoko Ono's Plastic Ono Band at Brooklyn Academy of Music 16 February; Event Features Original Members Eric Clapton and Klaus Voo

Yoko Ono, along with her son and co-producer, Sean Lennon, Haruomi Hosono, Yuka Honda and Cornelius (Keigo Oyamada, Naoki Shimizu and Yuko Araki) have revived the name and spirit of the Plastic Ono Band. On 16 February 2010, Yoko will perform at the Brooklyn Academy of Music with the “new” Plastic Ono Band, original members Eric Clapton and Klaus Voorman, and an impressive array of guests including Mark Ronson, Jim Keltner, Bette Middler, Paul Simon, Scissor Sisters and more.
