Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck Mini-Tour Stops In Toronto

Photos Added!  On 21 February 2010, Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck's mini-tour stopped in city number three, Toronto. The concert at Air Canada Centre followed the same format as those in London and New York: a set by Jeff, a set by Eric, then Jeff joined Eric and his band on stage for 8 numbers. Although there were no changes to Jeff's set, Eric dropped "Nobody Knows You" in favour of "Layla" during the acoustic portion of his set. Their "together" set remained the same closing again with "Crossroads".

Stefan Grossman Added To Crossroads Guitar Festival 2010 Lineup

Acoustic fingerstyle guitarist Stefan Grossman has been added to Eric Clapton's 2010 Crossroads Guitar Festival lineup. Born in Brooklyn, New York on 14 April 1945, Grossman was a founder member of the Even Dozen Jug Band along with with Steve Katz, John Sebastian and Maria Muldaur. He crossed paths with the festival's host in the mid-sixties while a member of the Chicago Loop and he even stayed with Clapton when he first travelled to England in 1967. It was during that trip that Grossman also crossed paths with another festival performer, Bert Jansch.

Eric Clapton's and Jeff Beck's six concert, four city mini-tour hit New York City's Madison Square Garden on Thursday evening, 18 February following two shows in London the previous weekend. Although the shows were identical to London in format - Jeff and Eric performed "together and apart" - there were some differences.
