    On 7 June, Eric Clapton's and Steve Winwood's co-headlining tour reached Vienna, Austria (the date also marked the 41st Anniversary of the duo's debut in Blind Faith at a gig in Hyde Park, London). The 20 song set was drawn from material from their days in Blind Faith, their respective solo careers as well as gems from other bands they have worked with. There were no changes to the set list. Only three concerts remain: Belgrade (9 June), Bucharest (11 June) and Istanbul (13 June).

    Musician Bobby Whitlock has completed work on his highly-anticipated autobiography. It has a heartfelt foreword by Eric Clapton. To be published before Christmas, it will tell the story of Bobby’s traumatic childhood and how his love of music allowed him to escape his abusive father. He'll take readers on a musical journey through his days at Stax Records while still a teenager, his time with Delaney & Bonnie & Friends and Derek & The Dominos, his session work and solo career.

    The Editor of Where's Eric! was clearing out a closet and tucked away behind some old cricket bats, gloves, and pads was a box with copies of Issue 37! A bit karmic that it was found this weekend, as #37 featured coverage of Eric Clapton's first Crossroads Guitar Festival, which took place exactly six years ago (4, 5, 6 June 2004). It also had extensive reports on the 2004 Guitar Auction, EC's World Tour and an exclusive with Albert Lee. We've updated our inventory and Issue 37 can once again be purchased as a back issue.

    The 2010 European Tour for Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood is beginning to wind-down, but not so the music! On 5 June, the duo performed a monster two plus hour set on Munich's Konigsplatz. One fan who contacted Where's Eric! shortly after the concert ended said, "This is why I go to so many EC concerts - to witness and hear such great music. The gig was overwhelmingly marvelous with monster guitar by Eric and Steve and Steve's B3 in the beautiful setting of the Konigsplatz in Munich.
