On 23 November 2009, Eric Clapton performed a solo three-song acoustic set at a charity event in Geneva. One of the songs was "Nobody Knows You When You're Down And Out." The event was a benefit for Children Action, a Swiss charitable foundation. The evening's auction raised approximately $5 million, including $150,000 for a Martin 000-28 Acoustic Guitar that was autographed by Clapton.

According to CMT, Eric Clapton and James Burton are featured on "You Can Have Her" a track on Jerry Lee Lewis' new digital EP, "Mean Old Man." Available only from Amazon and not other digital retailers, it also features Sheryl Crow, Merle Haggard, Kid Rock and Kris Kristoferson. It's not Clapton's first collaboration with Jerry Lee - they partnered on "Trouble In Mind" on Lewis' 2006 CD of duets, "Last Man Standing."
