    On 5 April 2011, 429 Records will release Robbie Robertson's first new album in over a decade. How To Become Clairvoyant is Robertson's fifth solo album. The album is jam-packed with guest artists including Eric Clapton (who co-wrote three tracks), Steve Winwood, Tom Morello, Robert Randolph, Trent Reznor and more. Pino Palladino (bass) and Ian Thomas (drums) make up the rhythm section for the 12-track disc. Robertson co-produced the album with Marius de Vries.

    In early November, Gibson USA announced that they would reproduce Eric Clapton's iconic guitar, the 1960 "Beano" Les Paul. It's now available from authorized Gibson dealers in three different pricing and finish options in a total limited edition number of just 500 guitars. The Gibson Custom Shop Eric Clapton 1960 Les Paul has been created with the close personal cooperation of the artist, and with painstaking reference to available photographs to recreate the guitar that was stolen in 1966.

    Eric Clapton's 2011 Tour kicks off in Abu Dhabi on Friday, 11 February 2011 at the Yas Arena. Tickets for the concert go on sale Monday, 27 December at 9AM (UAE Time). EC's Band features long-time touring partners Steve Gadd (drums), Willie Weeks (bass), Chris Stainton (keyboards) along with Michelle John and Sharon White as backing vocalists. Pictures and memorabilia from 1963 to 2005 are particularly sought. Photographic prints and other paper ephemera should be scanned at a minimum of 200 DPI.
