Night 3 of the 2013 US Tour brought EC & Company to the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas, where it was also the final date of the annual SXSW Festival. The two hour plus show saw Jimmie Vaughan joining EC on stage for "Black Cat Bone" and some adjustments to the set list. Fan-favorite Layla was back (unplugged), Nobody Knows You, Good Night Irene and Lay Down Sally was added. Numerous fans wrote in to let us know that How Long was definitely part of the show in Austin.

Clapton Concert News From Houston
Eric Clapton's "Fifty Years Further On Up The Road" Tour rolled into Houston's Toyota Center on Saturday, 16 March. Those attending were surprised (and pleased!) by the show's opening number, "Hello Old Friend," which hasn't been featured in a live set since 1976. For this tour, the obligatory Wonderful Tonight has been rearranged and moved into the seated portion of the show with EC on acoustic and Doyle Bramhall II and Greg Leisz playing the line.

Eric Clapton Opens 2013 Tour In Phoenix
Eric Clapton kicked off his 50th Anniversary Tour in Phoenix at the U.S. Airways Center on 14 March. Eric's set featured favorites, songs from his just released album, Old Sock, deep cuts and plenty of blues. The 22 song set list featured Hello Old Friend, Got To Get Better, Goodnight Irene, Black Cat Bone, Stones In My Passway, and Love In Vain. My Father's Eyes, Tears In Heaven and Sunshine Of Your Love were welcomed back. Of course, the set included gems like I Shot The Sheriff, Layla, Crossroads and others.
