    Eric Clapton and His Band are getting ready to head out on the road for the second leg of the 2011 concert tour. Things kick off 9 May at the O2 in Dublin. Then, the band heads off to Belfast, Glasgow, Cardiff, and London with 11 nights at the Royal Albert Hall (5 of them with Steve Winwood).

    On the evening of 7 May at London's Grosvernor House Hotel, Eric Clapton helped past and present Bunbury Cricket Team members celebrate the cricket club's 25th Anniversary. The black-tie gala raised funds to support the English School's Cricket Association, Crossroads Centre Antigua and the AF Foundation. It began with a 7PM reception, followed by dinner and entertainment hosted by Rory Bremner. Special guests were Ringo Starr and the Ashes Winning England Cricket Team. Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings performed a set.  Eric Clapton also took the stage to perform 7 songs.

    Paul Wassif's debut album, Looking Up Feeling Down, is out now on iTunes (UK, Europe, Africa, Australasia) and will be released on CD on 1 June on the independent label, Black Brown & White Records. It's a collection of self-penned songs and reworked traditional classics from country, blues and folk. The album features a guest appearance from Eric Clapton and Bert Jansch (who also work together for the first time). Other musicians are Evan Jenkins, The Watson Brothers, Robin Clayton, Steve Counsel, Seamus Beaghen and Lynn Glaser.

    The Where's Eric! Team has rolled out a brand new decade within the Eric Clapton Tour Archive on whereseric.com covering the years 1980 to 1989. It now has information on 1,665 events from the last thirty-one years (1980 to 2011). When known, the band lineup, set list, support act, special guests, notes about the show and information about official and bootleg releases are provided. It has also been re-designed making it easier to locate information and navigate within the archive.
