Clapton / Winwood Tour Reaches Paris; Voodoo Chile Still The Killer Song

Eric Clapton's and Steve Winwood's 16-date European Tour reached Paris on Tuesday, 25 May. In a two plus hour show, "Voodoo Chile" remained the killer song of the evening. The duo tweaked the set list again, replacing "Going Down Slow" with "Key To The Highway" and "Split Decision" with "Gimme Some Lovin'". Calling it the "best concert of my life," one fan told Where's Eric! that, "The whole band was on fire from the beginning, with great solos on 'Had To Cry Today'.

Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood only have four shows of their 2010 European Tour under their belts and fans are already running out of superlatives. Last week's concerts in Birmingham and London were termed "amazing," "phenomenal," "unbelievable," and "fantastic." It was more of the same at the Sportspaleis in Antwerp on Sunday, 23 May. Eric and Steve changed the set list up a bit, dropping "Forever Man," "Pearly Queen," and Don Nix's "Going Down." One sharp-eyed fan told Where's Eric!

Eric Clapton & Steve Winwood: Another Amazing Night At London's Wembley Arena

Legendary musicians Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood performed a second concert at London's Wembley Arena on Friday 21 May. It was another excellent show according to early reports with EC playing his stratocaster like a man possessed and Winwood not far behind in the guitar solo department. One fan checking in shortly after the show ended told Where's Eric, "Another stellar night with MONSTER guitar from EC. Again, Voodoo Chile is THE song of the night.

Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood: Night One at Wembley Arena

Heading down the motorway to London from Birmingham, Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood and their band put on a spectacular concert at Wembley Arena on Thursday 20 May. Where's Eric! had a few short text messages from fans who attended all reporting that "Voodoo Chile" is the monster song of the evening. Our favourite was "VooChile=OMG!" This was also true of last year's U.S. Tour when the song was the highlight among highlights on a nightly basis. Another fan told Where’s Eric!
