Clapton: New 14-Track Album Features Mix of New Songs and Covers

Eric Clapton's new 14-track studio album, "Clapton," will be released Monday 27 September in the U.K. and the following day in the United States. It is made up of a mix of new material and covers. Several songs, like "Rocking Chair" and "When Somebody Thinks You're Wonderful," will be familiar to concert-goers as Eric and his band have been performing them on stage. Eric Clapton's New Album To Be Released 28 September 2010

Reprise / Warner Brothers Records in the United States has announced that Eric Clapton's new studio album, "Clapton," will be out on Tuesday, 28 September 2010. A track list has not yet been issued. Stay tuned to whereseric.com for international release dates, which traditionally happen on Mondays, as well as additional details as they become available.

Steve Gadd and Friends Release Debut CD: "Live at Voce"

This has been a busy year for legendary drummer Steve Gadd. Not only has he toured and performed with Eric Clapton, James Taylor, Alain Clark and Edie Brickell, he's recorded and produced three albums! The first is Steve Gadd and Friends "Live at Voce," the debut CD from a band that has been touring sporadically since 2007. Recorded at the intimate Voce Lounge in Scottsdale, Arizona, it sounds as if the band is playing right in front of you.
