    Two hours of highlights from Eric Clapton's third Crossroads Guitar Festival will air in the U.S. on PBS Stations' Great Performances on Monday, 6 June. Most PBS stations will carry the broadcast at 9PM, WNET-TV (Channel 13) in New York will begin the broadcast at 9:30PM (check local listings).

    Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood will kick-off a 12 date tour of Japan in Sapporo in November. The multi-city tour will also visit Yokohama, Osaka, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Kanazawa, Nagoya and Tokyo.

    On 1 June, Eric Clapton concluded his 11-night residency at London's Royal Albert Hall with a performance with his former Blind Faith bandmate, Steve Winwood. EC's run of shows started on 17 May with 6 solo performances. From 26 May, he was joined by Winwood for 5 nights. With the final concert, the musicians pulled out all the stops for their 20-song set. According to early reports, there was no single highlight - the show went from strength to strength in a flawless peformance.

    Steve Winwood is on stage with Eric Clapton for the final concerts of EC's 2011 Royal Albert Hall residency. On Sunday (29 May) and Monday (30 May), the duo performed another pair of stupendous concerts at the London venue. Their final concert, and the last of EC's 11 nights at the venue, takes place 1 June. Each evening, the men have been tweaking the set list a bit but the guaranteed standout number each evening has been Voodoo Chile. High marks have also been given to Pearly Queen, Glad / Well Alright, Georgia, and Hoochie Coochie Man.
