    [Updated 7 January 2011] On 9 March 2011 in New York City, Bonhams will host a landmark auction that includes more than 150 lots from Eric Clapton's personal collection. The sale will feature over 70 guitars and 70 amps which have helped create EC's legendary sound. This auction will give fans a rare opportunity to purchase a piece of Clapton history. Included in the sale are instruments and amps by Fender, Gibson, Marshall, Martin, and Music Man.

    Filmed in 3D on 17 November at London's Royal Albert Hall, highlights of the Prince's Trust Rock Gala 2010 will air on Sky 3D (Sky Channel 217) from 8PM to 9:30PM on 19 December in the UK. A repeat broadcast airs on 2 January at 4PM. According to TV Guide, a 30 minute "behind the scenes" show will also air immediately following both broadcasts. The evening was hosted by Barry Humphries as Dame Edna Everage and Rob Brydon.

    Los Lobos will be out on the road in February / March 2011 supporting Eric Clapton on his US West Coast dates along with one date in Vancouver, Canada. The band previously appeared at EC's 2007 Crossroads Guitar Festival and members Cesar Rosas and David Hidalgo took part in the 2010 Festival at Chicago's Toyota Park. Los Lobos was founded in East Los Angeles, California in the late 70s. In 1984, they had their first major label release, How Will The Wolf Survive?. Since that time, they have released numerous albums and have won several Grammy Awards.
