    Since mid-March, Where’s Eric! has been celebrating Derek And The Dominos and the 40th Anniversary Editions of Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs on whereseric.com. In the final installment, which coincides with the U.S. Release of the Super Deluxe Box Set on 26 April 2011, Bobby Whitlock is interviewed. One of the band’s creative forces along with Eric Clapton, he recently spoke at length with Where’s Eric! Web Content Editor Linda Wnek about the Dominos, the Layla album, Duane Allman, his autobiography and what he’s up to now.

    In March 1980, Eric Clapton joined Gary Brooker in the studio to help record Gary's new single along with Dave Markee (bass), Henry Spinetti (drums) and Gallagher and Lyle (backing vocals). They recorded "Leave The Candle" b/w "Chasing The Chop." Released by Chrysalis in April 1981, it has been much sought after by collector's of both Brooker's and Clapton's music for many years. On 30 May, Estoteric Recordings will re-release Brooker's second solo album, Lead Me To The Water with "Chasing The Chop" as a bonus track.

    Robbie Robertson's recently released his fifth solo album, How To Become Clairvoyant. The 12-track disc is loaded with guest musicians including Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Tom Morello, Trent Reznor and Robert Randolph. Robertson co-produced the album with Marius de Vries, his long-time collaborator. Rolling Stone gave it four-stars and Goldmine raved, "this soulful record is Robertson's best yet." Now through 1 May, Where's Eric!
