New Eric Clapton And Hiroshi Fujiwara Guitar From C.F. Martin & Co

Debuting this week at the Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, California will be a new Eric Clapton signature guitar from C.F. Martin & Company. Limited to 181 instruments, the OM-ECHF Navy Blues is the guitar maker's third collaboration with Eric Clapton and Japanese musician, producer and designer, Hiroshi Fujiwara. Unlike it's predecessors in the series - the Bellezza Nera (Black Beauty) and the Bellezza Bianca (White Beauty) - this OM incorporates the longer 25.4" scale for added string tension and tonal projection.

Bobfest Coming to Blu-Ray and DVD

On March 4, Sony Legacy Recordings will release an upgraded and expanded edition of Bob Dylan's 30th Anniversary Concert on Blu-Ray and DVD for the first time. Christened "Bobfest" by Neil Young at the start of his set, the marathon concert on October 16, 1992 was organized to commemorate the thirty years since the release of Dylan's self-titled debut on Columbia in March 1962. More than 25 of Dylan's musical colleagues paid tribute. The artists included Eric Clapton, George Harrison, The Band, Ron Wood, Johnny Cash, Lou Reed, and Johnny Winter performed in his honor at Madison Square Garden. Broadcast live on pay-per-view, it was released on VHS and CD the following year. The two-disc CD will also be reissued on March 4 with additional tracks.

Eric Clapton Headlines 45th NOLA Jazz Festival April 27

WATCH THE ANNOUNCEMENT VIDEO! Eric Clapton will take the stage at the 45th New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival for the first time on Sunday April 27, 2014. He'll close out the festival's first weekend (April 25, 26, 27) in The Big Easy. Other acts appearing over the two weekends include Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Foster The People, Santana, Phish, Christina Aguilera, Alabama Shakes, Public Enemy, Trey Songz, Vampire Weekend, John Fogerty, Branford Marsalis, Robert Plant, Aaron Neville, and many more.The music performed on the festival's multiple stages encompasses every style associated with New Orleans and the state of Louisiana: jazz, blues, R&B, gospel, Cajun, zydeco, Afro-Caribbean, folk, Latin, rock, rap, country, bluegrass and everything in between. Tickets are on sale today at 12 Noon Central Time.
