Cream Rises To The Top: Eric Clapton & Jack Bruce With Redbeard

American radio host and legendary program director, Redbeard, celebrates the 45th Anniversary of the classic album Disraeli Gears in a new episode of InTheStudio: The Stories Behind History's Greatest Rock Bands with guests Eric Clapton and Jack Bruce. Having established themselves as the "power trio" on their debut album, Cream took a bit of a left turn sonically with the help of producer Felix Pappalardi on Disraeli Gears. When released in November 1967, it introduced a psychedelic sound to the blues and spawned a number one single, "Sunshine of Your Love". But as Clapton recalls, the band's perception of themselves during their rise to stardom was surprisingly humble.
