23 May 2009: Night Six at the Royal Albert Hall for Eric Clapton & His Band

It was the second Saturday night at the Royal Albert Hall, concert number six for Eric Clapton and the half-way point of his 11 night residency on 23 May 2009. Eric and his band were in great form. Clocking in at almost two-hours, the sixteen song set continues to offer a mix of blues, songs from EC's 1989 album "Journeyman" and a bunch of hits. One fan, who was attending his first show of the tour was impressed. He wrote, "there are lots of different arrangements of the old songs along with some new ones that are outstanding, like 'Not Dark Yet.' On that number, Michelle and Sharon offer up some wonderful harmonies and Andy's rhythm work is great. On a fashion note, EC is now sporting a crocodile skin guitar strap. Love the Arc Angels too!" Another fan checking in via blackberry said the highlights were "Old Love," "I Shot The Sheriff," "Layla," "Little Queen of Spades," "Before You Accuse Me," and "Cocaine."
