Sunshine of Your Love, Eric Clapton's official, hand-crafted, signed limited edition book documenting the Crossroads Guitar Festivals 1999-2013 will be published in May by Genesis Publications. The musicians who performed at the festivals tell the story, taking the reader through their musical influences, experiences at the festivals, and their appreciation of each other's music. The 36,000-word manuscript not only documents the historic series of Crossroads concerts but also tells the wider story of guitar music.

Eric Clapton Featured On United We Swing

"United We Swing: Best of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Galas," will be released March 23 on Blue Engine Records. The disc features a star-studded roster of guest artists including Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, John Mayer, John Legend, Willie Nelson and more. Proceeds support Jazz at Lincoln Center's music education programs. 

Eric C performs "I'm Not Rough" alongside the Wynton Marsalis Septet.

The album will be issued on CD and vinyl. Pre-order at jazz.org/swing.

30th Anniversary Eric Clapton Stratocaster With Black Journeyman Relic Finish

In 1987 Eric Clapton retired his famous Stratocaster, “Blackie”, and approached the Fender Custom Shop to design a replacement to his specifications. Fender unveiled the result in 1988: the Eric Clapton Signature Stratocaster and the first guitar in the company's Artist Series.

To celebrate the EC Signature Strat's milestone anniversary, Fender has announced the Limited Edition Eric Clapton 30th Anniversary Stratocaster with the new Journeyman Relic® finish in black. Available only in 2018, there is a custom-built version and master-built option.

Eric Clapton Breaks Out "The Core" In Paris

On January 23, Eric Clapton performed a by-invitation-only gig at the Théâtre Mogador in Paris. The band was Doyle Bramhall II, Paul Carrack, Nathan East, and newcomer Sonny Emory on drums.

The set list held quite a few surprises for Clapton aficionados. "Got To Get Better In A Little While" was back after an absence of several years. But, Eric kept the biggest surprise back until late in the show. For the first time since July 1978 at Blackbushe Aerodrome, he performed "The Core." The complete set list was:
