Eric Clapton's 2009 Tour Visits Hunter Valley, Australia

After a three day break, Eric Clapton & His Band performed the inaugural concert at a newly-built amphitheatre on the grounds of the Hope Estate Winery, in Hunter Valley, Australia on 7 March. The show lasted just about 2 hours. The 18 song set opened with "Tell The Truth," "Key To The Highway" and "Hoochie Coochie Man." ...

Eric Clapton at Vector Arena, Auckland

After 11 dates in Japan - of which two were with co-headliner Jeff Beck - Eric Clapton & His Band have traveled "down under" for a series of dates. The set list in Auckland on 4 March was identical to that performed on the final Japan dates.

Support Acts for Eric Clapton - New Zealand and Australia

Eric Clapton and His Band are on their way to New Zealand and Australia for dates in early March following their 11 date tour of Japan in February. Support for the show in Auckland, New Zealand will be the Danny McCrum Band. For the gig in Hunter Valley, Australia it will be Jeff Lang and Ian Moss. In Sydney, it will be Jeff Lang. No support has been announced for the 10 March date in Melbourne. ...

Eric Clapton Wraps Up Tokyo Concerts: Budokan Night 7

Eric Clapton and His Band closed out a seven night residency at Tokyo's Budokan with a slightly short of two-hours performance on 28 February. The mix of songs drew heavily on EC's back catalog and included a good number of blues standards. Amongst the evening's strongest numbers were "Hoochie Coochie Man," "Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad" "Cocaine" and the perennial fan-favorite, "I Shot The Sheriff." EC's solo acoustic number, "Driftin'" was also given high marks by those in attendance.
